Skilled Operative
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Skilled Operative to join our team in Nottingham.

Unearthed.
Location: Nottingham, Riverside Bakery
Working Hours: 7:15am - 7:15pm: Wednesday / Thursday - Saturday
Salary: £12.77 per hour or £27,800 per annum
Job Purpose
Ensure that product is picked and despatched according to outload plan maintaining traceability and temperature regime. Ensure
that the pick area/fridges/freezers are maintained in an organised manner in order that stock talking and picking can be maximised
with minimum errors.
Key Duties:
* Timely and 100% accurate supply of product to the customer. Product picked and loaded onto vehicles according to outload plans.
* Pick any customers product available to them or instructed to at the required picking in rates.
* Ensure that pallet/dolly labels are maintained on the pallets for the use of guns, and in compliance with our customers’
requirements.
* Helping picking product from the Freezer if needed to.
* Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any issues so that they can be resolved. (pallet trucks, picking guns,
printers fridge fans, loading docks, banding equipment, etc)
* To use all the equipment in a safe manner and report any accidents or near misses to their Team Leader.
* Keeping the correct stock in the correct location.
* Pick in FIFO and hence rotate stock.
* Identify stock required for completion of the day’s orders.
* Record stock by quantity, location, date code (UB), promotional information, at the dedicated time.
* Consolidate, book in and scan product off the end of the carousel when required.
* Undertake any reasonable request made by any manager within the business.
* Ensure and maintain a clean working environment.
Key Performance Indicators:
* 99% picking accuracy. Eliminate returns from JS/MS due to picking errors.
* Paperwork to be filled in clearly and accurately .
* 4 pallets per hour on average per person
* 0 penalty charges from M&S for RFID non-compliance
* Communicate any issues that will affect, health and safety, customer service, stock discrepancies, equipment effectiveness
