Salary: Up to £125 per day
Start Date: Mid August and Ongoing Start Dates
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (option for 6 days/week)
Job Summary:
A new logistics company based in Bedford is looking for experienced and reliable van drivers for long-distance work across the UK. This is not a multi-drop role. Ideal for drivers seeking consistent, full-time work with fair rates and structured days.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete long-distance delivery routes across the UK
Handle various types of goods (e.g., pallets, boxed items, solar panels)
Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers
Follow scheduled routes and manage time effectively
Ensure goods are transported safely and responsibly
Submit one invoice per week as a self-employed contractor
Pay and Benefits:
Up to £125 per day (based on experience and performance)
Weekly pay (2 weeks in hand, then paid weekly)
Van and fuel provided if needed
Consistent full-time work with potential for extra days
Supportive management and future growth opportunities
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of van driving experience (LWB or Luton vans)
Maximum 6 points on driving licence
Must be self-employed with a valid UTR number
Own transport required to reach Bedford depot daily
If using your own van: must have courier insurance, goods-in-transit cover, and public liability insurance
Punctuality, professionalism, and reliability are essential
