We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
To provide the overall vision and technical leadership for Warick Agri-tech across the University.
Responsibilities including winning and leading projects by working pro-actively with the external partners, academics and senior management to deliver technical objectives to time and to budget.
The Chief Engineer will report to the WMG CTO. The role will involve interfacing across relevant research groups in WMG, the School of Life Sciences at Warwick and several external organisations. These will include other HVM Catapult centres, the Agri-tech centre, various government departments and key industry organisations.
The Chief Engineer will possess outstanding strategic, commercial and technical capabilities, with understanding of the key challenges in Agriculture Technology and how to develop and apply manufacturing and product related research and technologies into the field.
