This role is fixed term until 31st January 2026 to cover Maternity leave, working 17.5 hours per week.
The Department of Education and Childhood studies are appointing one part time Teaching Fellows on fixed term contracts. This is to cover maternity leave. The details about responsibilities and contractual arrangements are as follows:
Teaching Fellow in Childhood Studies (maternity cover). This post will be 0.5 (3 days a week) and is fixed term starting in September 2025 and ending at the end of January 2026. The Teaching Fellow in Childhood Studies will be responsible for leading, teaching and assessing a Masters module on Child Development, and for contributing to an undergraduate module on research and study skills. Knowledge of child development would be essential for any applicant. Experience of teaching child development would also be very welcome.
