In your application, please indicate any preferences you may have for working in specific care areas within the Acute Trust (e.g., Medicine, Surgery, Urgent Care) for consideration. The application process has the following stages: STAGE ONE: Submit an application to the Isle of Wight Trust for this position STAGE TWO: If your Trust application is shortlisted, you will be invited via email to apply to the Open University for a place on the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship. This will involve the completion of an application and skill scan. You will be asked to provide copies of certificates to the Open University during this stage. STAGE THREE: If accepted by the Open University, you will be invited to attend a joint in-person interview with the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Open University. Interviews will be held during week commencing 27/10/2025. Both the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and the Open University have pre-employment checks that must be satisfied before a formal offer of a place on this apprenticeship programme can be made. Additional information To apply for the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship you must: Be aged 18 or over at the start of the programme Have the right to work in the UK and eligible residency status to enable access to Apprenticeship funding.
