Crynodeb
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while enjoying the unique environment of our holiday park
Some duties include:
Assist with routine electrical maintenance and inspections on park facilities, guest accommodation (e.g. lodges, caravans), and communal areas (e.g. restaurants, shops, leisure facilities).
Shadow a qualified electrician to learn safe and efficient work practices.
Developing skills in fault finding, repairs, and installations under supervision
Cooperate with other departments (e.g. housekeeping, reception, pool staff) to respond to maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
Conduct routine inspections and testing of holiday homes, domestic and commercial properties.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of caravan electrical hook-ups and metered supplies.
Respond to on-site electrical issues in a timely and professional manner
Work safely in line with health and safety regulations
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace
Training
You will attend Exeter College one day per week during term time to work towards your Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship.
Qualifications required
GCSE or equivalent 4/C or above in English and Maths.
Skills required
Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and develop practical skills.
Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
Prospects
Upon successful completion, you may progress to a full-time qualified electrical technician role within the business with further training being an option.
Qualification / Standard : ST0152 Installation electrician and maintenance electrician
Duration 48 months
