We are looking for a driven and detail-obsessed Assistant Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. If you're currently studying towards AAT Level 3 or 4, and eager to get hands-on with every part of the finance cycle, this is your opportunity to make a real impact in a growing agency.

This isn’t just another transactional finance role — it’s a launchpad to becoming a Management Accountant. You’ll gain end-to-end experience across accounts receivable, payable, credit control, reporting, forecasting, and more. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders and international teams, building the commercial awareness and technical expertise to accelerate your career.


- Take full ownership of the sales ledger process
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing across global markets
- Conduct weekly variance analysis between actual and forecasted sales
- Maintain and oversee a semi-automated purchase ledger system
- Ensure supplier invoices are accurately processed, reconciled, and paid
- Lead the credit control function, maintaining KPIs and managing aged debt
- Produce and circulate weekly aged debtor reports to internal stakeholders
- Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing transactions
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of monthly Management Information packs
- Post journals and ensure accuracy across reporting outputs
- Support the Financial Controller with analytical reviews and variance explanations
- Complete timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with VAT return submissions
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting and reconciliation
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed

Essential:

- Currently studying AAT Level 3 or 4
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Self-starter with a passion for learning and growth
