Head of Business Development & Partnerships, Hybrid role (North East Preferred)Help Grow Everyturn’s Reach and ImpactIn this new role, you’ll lead Everyturn’s business development and relationship management strategy. Working with the Strategy & Development team, you’ll help grow our reach by building partnerships and securing new services that benefit local communities and improve population health.About the roleOwn the charity’s business development plan and all related activities, including opportunity identification, qualification, planning, proposal writing, commercial modelling, tender submission, presentation and contract negotiation.Undertake engagement with commissioners and build relationships in new areas to achieve the business plan and growth targets.Act as representative and influence strategic developments throughout all integrated health care systems that Everyturn operates within, to generate new business and maximise contractual opportunities.Keep abreast of changing and emerging policies and practices, identifying potential opportunities for growth and development and to demonstrate Everyturn’s commitment to mental health services.Work with the marketing and communication team to develop ‘go to market’ plans for key propositions, ensuring messages are consistent and compelling through all communication channels.Research, source, select and onboard partners / suppliers to deliver the services including all relevant sub-contracting requirements to ensure high quality services are delivered per the agreed contracts.Undertake any reasonable duties/responsibilities to meet the needs of the organisation.About youQualified to degree level or equivalent career experienceSubstantial experience in a senior business development roleSignificant experience in the commercial growth of health care servicesSubstantial experience of relationship management strategiesSubstantial experience in bid managementSignificant experience of managing staff and associated HR proceduresDetailed understanding of the NHSDetailed understanding of how NHS providers are commissionedUnderstanding of national and local organisations and other resources that can support individuals to improve and maintain good mental healthUnderstanding of political pressures of health and social care systemsHighly developed communication, numeracy and written skillsHighly developed business development skillsHighly developed Leadership skillsHighly developed influencing and negotiating skillsHighly developed relationship building skillsHighly developed interpersonal skillsDeveloped ability to problem solve and provide practical solutionsDeveloped ability in MS office and CRMWhat we offer in returnWe are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members.
