Area Sales Manager | Leicester | Full Time | Competitive salary plus yearly bonus

Our client is a leading supplier of Anti-Vibration Mountings and Rubber Engineering Components.

Due to their continued growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join their team in a full-time, permanent role

The company’s head office is located in Wigston, Leicester, and ideally, candidates should be within commuting distance. However, given the strong growth across all sales regions, applications from candidates based elsewhere in the UK are also welcome, and home working may be considered.

Please note- standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, but flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the role.

Are you the right person for the job?

• At least 2 years’ industry experience in either the Anti-Vibration or Rubber Industry
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong negotiation skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Familiarity with measurement equipment (e.g., verniers) — training can be provided
• Ability to carry out both technical and commercial discussions
• Enthusiastic and driven, with a strong desire to generate sales
• Confident, personable, and able to work under pressure
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Able to represent the company in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Good business acumen

What will your role look like?

• Prospecting, cold calling, and generating new business sales
• Arranging and conducting customer visits
• Organising your own diary and managing your time effectively
• Representing the company professionally during meetings and presentations
• Regular overnight stays (including international travel when required)
• Participating in exhibitions where applicable
• Reporting to and receiving direction from the Sales Director
• Potentially working from home, depending on geographic location, with technical support from the Leicester site
