A Vacancy at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
An opportunity has arisen for two individuals to undertake a 12-month Fixed Term/ Secondment and join our dynamic and forward-thinking Safeguarding and Vulnerable Peoples Team.
The successful applicant under the guidance of the Matron for Patient Centred, fundamental and Enhanced Care will utilise their experience, knowledge and practice development skills, to embed, patient centred and enhanced care across the organisation, developing workforce behaviours, attitudes, skills and competencies that support and drive person-centred approaches to care and support, ensuring that fundamental and enhanced care needs, and effective assessment guide provision of care.
The post holder will be highly visible and provide professional leadership across all divisions and all five sites to support activity when called to do so.
Takes responsibility and is accountable for delegated professional, practice development & education within ward-based teams for Enhanced and Patient Centred Care.
To support & educate staff on elements of essential care such as delirium, pain, constipation and person centred care through role modelling and clinical visibility.
Will provide professional, practice development & education advice to support the delivery of high quality, effective, personalised, compassionate enhanced care. This will be in line with local, Trust wide and national policies, procedures, values and behaviours.
Will undertake audit.
