We currently have a permanent vacancy to join our team. This post is Monday to Friday, working 7.5 hours per week term time, 38 week contract as required.
Largoward PS:
Catering Assistant - 7.5 hours per week, 38week contract (hours of work are - Monday to Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm)
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
£13.18 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38 week contracts.
Access to and support with a training opportunities and qualifications for the job.
Local and national discounts including supermarkets, restaurants and retail!
Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).
Generous holiday allowance.
This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether it's Breakfast Club, morning break or lunch you have served.
No previous experience required as on the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working as part of a team.
You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
