Job description:I am a 68-year-old lady with advanced MS. I am in a wheelchair and have the use of my right arm and hand only. I need another Personal Assistant/Carer for job share.
I require a bespoke diet from a personalised assessment, training and instruction will be given. I am an artist, mainly for self-therapy but I exhibited in Norwich at the Forum. Again training and instruction will be given.
There is the possibility of more hours when covering shifts for the other PAs. I am very flexible and have a number of PAs to ensure work and time off as needed.Location: Norwich , NR2Essential:Must be able to take instruction.Reliable, honest, understanding of limits of disability.Physically strong and well.Physically practical and problem solving abilities.Flexible.Desirable:Experience of looking after someone with MS.Summary terms and conditions:· Rate of pay for this position is £15.00 hour.
· Hours and times of work: 2 hours on Thursday mornings from 09:00 to 11:00. Evening work from 20:30-21:30 hours, when available.· Annual holiday entitlement for this position is 1 hour for every 8 hours worked.· Free annual training: Data Protection, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and Personal Care.The post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
