Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and BALI-accredited landscaping and grounds maintenance company based in Berkshire, is currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their growing team. Operating across Reading, Maidenhead, Windsor, and surrounding areas, they deliver high-quality grounds management and soft landscaping services for a diverse range of commercial and residential clients.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes. From routine maintenance to large-scale landscaping projects, no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grass cutting, strimming, and general weeding

  • Hedge cutting and soft landscaping work

  • Turf preparation and laying

  • Supporting winter gritting operations

  • General grounds and estate maintenance duties

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or soft landscaping

  • Confident in using grounds maintenance tools and machinery

  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work

  • Presentable, polite, and a strong team player

  • Full UK driving licence with B+E trailer towing - essential

  • Additional certifications (advantageous but not essential):

    • PA1 & PA6 Spraying

    • CS30 & CS31 Chainsaw
