Deputy Nurse Manager – Up to £24.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Make a real difference in a small, person-centred setting

Our client is a well-respected, specialist care service supporting adults with complex physical disabilities and additional health needs. Their focus is on high-quality, compassionate care in a warm and welcoming environment. They are now looking for a dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their close-knit clinical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or existing Deputy Manager looking for a more personal, hands-on leadership role.

The Deputy Nurse Manager will work alongside the Registered Manager and wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. You’ll lead by example, support and supervise staff, and play a key role in care planning, clinical governance, and compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) with valid NMC pin
  • Proven senior-level experience (e.g. Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager)
  • Background in caring for individuals with complex physical disabilities and health needs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Confident in clinical decision-making and managing a team
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care

Why Join This Service?

  • Competitive pay: up to £24.50 per hour
  • Company pension scheme
  • Blue Light Card – discounts across hundreds of retailers and services
  • Free DBS check
  • Life assurance cover
  • Access to Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family
  • Ongoing training and clear progression opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the nursing team
  • Support the Registered Manager with audits, staff development, and quality assurance
  • Deliver and oversee person-centred care for adults with complex needs
  • Mentor, supervise and support junior staff to develop their skills
  • Work closely with families and professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Ensure safe administration of medication and accurate care documentation
  • Uphold high standards of care in line with regulatory and company requirements
