Crynodeb
Contract Personnel are currently recruiting a skilled Hygiene Operatives based in the South Norfolk area. Own transport is essential due to site location.
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced team where attention to detail, consistency, and compliance are key. Prior hygiene experience in a poultry, meat, or food factory environment is essential.
Duties and responsibilities:
Carry out detailed cleaning of processing areas, machinery, and production lines to meet BRC and food safety standards
Follow strict hygiene protocols and cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, deep cleans)
Safely use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals, adhering to COSHH guidelines
Maintain accurate hygiene documentation and checklists
Work closely with the hygiene team and supervisors to maintain audit-ready standards
Adhere to all PPE, health & safety, and hygiene procedures in a chilled and active environment
Any other duties as required
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Hygiene Operative in a food manufacturing or poultry processing environment
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards, food safety, and cleaning procedures
• Confident using industrial cleaning equipment (e.g. pressure washers, foam applicators)
• Physically fit and able to work in cold/chilled conditions
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when required
Shift pattern:
• Monday to Friday
• 14:00 - 22:00
