Job OverviewThe QSHE team are an integral part of Mitie at Heathrow, proudly supporting the Mitie Team in their objective to ensure new and existing colleagues are appropriately trained to fulfil their role and developed to their full potential.

Main DutiesPrimarily responsible for assisting the Night High-level Cleaning Manager Head of QSHE to ensure that Mitie operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.Providing expert QHSE and Compliance support across the Heathrow contract.Maintaining the integrated management system; ensuring a robust and efficient system is maintained, which complies with the requirements of the business and third-party quality, health, safety and environmental accreditations.Maintain an up to date knowledge of legislation and codes of practice applicable to the company's businessProvide advice and guidance to operational managers and employees on QHSE systems and the Integrated Management SystemMaintain QHSE Sharepoints so they reflect the Mitie Way for QHSE and relevant documentaions is currentMaintain the business registers, including but not limited to Equipment, Ladders, COSHH and RAMS and collate feedback from operational sites and management teamsCarry out assessments that are outside the competence of operational managers ie Significant Risk, COSHH, DSE and other assessmentsProvide and deliver relevant Health and Safety training to the Mitie team as required.Support and assist in insurance claims management by monitoring key trends, provide management information and identify risk management opportunitiesSupport and assist the wider Mitie team investigating accident, incident, near miss and hazard spot reportsProduce and communicate learning lessons from significant incidents and Insurance claimsAttend performance appraisals and work to agreed personal improvement and development plansAttend relevant training courses as part of personal development needs and meeting changing business needs What we are looking forExperience of managing a high-level Soft Services support team, including absence management and development of staff.Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to be flexibleProven experience of analytical skills and bringing management information to lifeExcellent IT skills with experience in Microsoft suite of programmes (Excel, PowerPoint & PowerBI) and Analytical skillsWorking knowledge of Facilities Management sectorAble to work unsupervised and on own initiative, and to work as part of a teamDiplomatic and personable with ability to communicate at all levelsAbility to deliver to tight deadlinesExperience of claims management or the insurance industry would be preferredFull UK driving licenceStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
