CX827 Personal Assistant needed to support a young girl to access the community. HU4 Area. 2 hours term time 4 hours school holidays
Further Information: Further information: A PA is required to support an 8-year-old girl with learning disabilities and sensory processing disorder and challenging behaviour. She has no sense of danger. The girl is very outgoing, funny and has a good sense of humour
PA would need to access social activities at home and in the community with the young girl.
The young girl needs to use a wheelchair when on outings, and accessing the community as she easily tires, she will also run and as no sense of danger.
The main duties would be to provide companionship for this young girl who enjoys been outdoors, going to the park, the deep and to farms, she also enjoys going to Asda living and to McDonalds, expenses will be met by the employer
When at home a PA would support the young girl with doing crafts, sensory play, she also enjoys going on her I pad. The young girl enjoys quiet time and will find a quiet area at home where she can have this.
A PA would need to be kind, provide companionship and be able to deal with challenging behaviour to support this young person to enjoy activities and outings.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.”
