The Assistant Housekeeping Manager role:
As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high housekeeping standards and ensuring our cabins are impeccably presented for every guest. In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, you will take on key leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining our commitment to delivering the perfect Forest Feeling experience for every guest.
Your Responsibilities:
Coordinate with housekeeping team leaders to oversee the cleaning teams, providing motivation and support to ensure all cabins are ready on time.
Assist with organising team rotas, planning for changeovers, and ensuring housekeeping equipment is well maintained and fully stocked.
Maintain exceptional cleaning standards and deliver outstanding service.
Lead with energy and enthusiasm to uphold our brand standards.
Ensure every guest experiences that Forest Feeling from arrival.
Work efficiently to meet set timescales.
Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved.
Adapt to working in an outdoor setting.
Skills and Experience:
Our ideal Housekeeping Manager will be extremely organised, able to balance multiple challenges and tasks at once, provide motivation and guidance to the team while keeping guest satisfaction a top priority.
We’re looking for someone with:
Previous head housekeeper experience of managing a team is desirable
The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and work to set timescales is essential
A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
Attention to detail and are a team player
A passion for the outdoors and motivation throughout all weather conditions.
