About the Role
We're looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and high-achieving school in Leeds. Starting in September 2025, this full-time role supports students aged 11-16 across a variety of subjects in both classroom and small group settings. This will be perfect for someone with the resilience, initiative, and drive to help all learners feel supported and valued.

Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification minimum
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Relevant experience in secondary education
- Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities:
- Supporting students in class and small groups
- Providing targeted help in English and Maths
- Assisting SEN learners
- Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour
- Preparing resources and tracking progress
- Prepare teaching materials
- Supervise during transitions and breaks
- Support emotional well-being
- Supervise students during break or lunchtime as needed.
