Are you a vet with a passion for ECC? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? Our client is looking for an exceptional veterinary surgeon to join their outstanding Emergency & Critical Care team and help continue to deliver gold-standard 24/7 care.
Based in a modern, multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital in the vibrant city of Cardiff, this is a rare opportunity to become part of a progressive team that’s actively growing and investing in both people and facilities.
The Opportunity:
This ECC role offers the best of both worlds – a fulfilling, hands-on clinical position with a true work-life balance. You’ll work a 4-on, 4-off rota (day shifts, twilight shifts – no long night shifts, no on-call), allowing for proper rest and time to enjoy life outside of work.
You’ll manage a diverse and interesting caseload, supported by a fantastic team of ECC vets, first opinion vets, experienced RVNs, ACAs and receptionists. The hospital provides out-of-hours care to around 40 local practices, covering an expansive and varied referral base.

• A vet with a genuine passion for ECC
• Confident and compassionate with strong clinical skills

• ECC experience preferred, but all levels considered – support and mentoring available

The Package:
• Salary £60,000 - £70,000 DOE
• Minimum 6.6 weeks holiday inclusive of Bank holidays – options to buy and sell
• Sick pay of 2 weeks full pay and 4 weeks half pay
• 5 days CPD, with a budget of £1750
• VDS and RCVS fees paid
• Two other professional subscription paid- e.g. BSAVA
