9 hours per week over 3 days
DBS required and will be undertaken prior to start date.
To ensure the smooth and effective delivery of the cleaning service on site
1. Ensure cleaning duties are carried out to the required standard throughout a monitoring programme.
2. Awareness for COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
3. Ensure compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of tasks including deliveries.
4. Perform duties as per schedule in a professional manner and to the standards expected by VINCI
5. Clean a variety of surfaces using correct methods in line with VINCI processes including all hard floor surfaces, carpets and upholstery.
6. Use electrical or battery powered cleaning equipment’s effectively and safely
7. Monitor and complete accurate cleaning procedures and restock areas where is needed.
8. Take responsibility for all cleaning tasks and familiarise themselves with the correct use of machinery and chemicals in various areas.
9. Ensure a timely stock monitoring and ordering process is in place via the Cleaning Supervisor.
10. Promote health & safety within the team and be empowered to raise awareness amongst all staff of appropriate health & safety regulations.
11. In line with the sustainability policy ensure effective and economical use of equipment and materials.
12. Ensure effective reporting systems are implemented to communicate and building / furniture / equipment / health and safety defects to their Supervisor / Facility Manager.
13. To actively support equality, diversity and inclusion policies of VINCI Facilities
14. Any other duties commensurate with the post.
