Job title: Personal assistant
Hourly rate: £12.21
Hour/shifts: Term time 6 hrs per week (weekends)
Holidays 8 hrs per week
Outline of role: To provide support and assistance to my child, to enable him to
achieve maximum personal benefit from their everyday life.
Responsible to: Aisha Rasheed
Tasks:
Personal tasks:
Help using the toilet or changing pads.
Help with getting from the wheelchair to the car seat and vice versa. Support
with manoeuvring around.
Help with eating and drinking at all meal/snack times.
Help with dressing or changing of clothes when needed.
Social activities:
Assisting my son to participate in various social activities, as per my
instructions. This may include going to clubs, swimming, attending classes, soft
play, meeting friends, trips to the park etc
Requirements - Driving Licence and previous experience supporting children with disabilities
