About the RoleJoin Mitie as a dedicated Security Officer, delivering a professional and visible presence during the evening period. You'll work a rotating 4‑on/4‑off schedule, covering 19:00-00:00, to protect people, property and assets in line with Assignment Instructions provided for City of Coventry Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform access control and patrol duties at the health centre
-Monitor CCTV and scanners, responding appropriately
-Maintain logs and write accurate incident reports
-Report any safety hazards or suspicious activity promptly
-Liaise with the Mitie Security Account Manager and NHS site staff as needed
-Ensure all duties comply with site policies and UK legal standards Mitie Careers
Essential Requirements
-Valid SIA licence (Security Guard or CCTV PSS)
-Previous security experience, especially in healthcare or public-facing settings preferred
-High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and reliability
-Ability to work independently while staying alert during evening hours
