Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanent Night Nurse to join our healthcare team in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients during night shifts, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a nurse who is skilled, attentive, and capable of working independently during night time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during night shifts, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assess and respond to patients' health needs and changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to deliver optimal patient care.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide critical care as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates and support.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience in night nursing or similar roles is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions during night shifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Working Hours:
