An exciting opportunity has become available for a Classic Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an independent family-run garage, located in South Oxford.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Classic Vehicle Technician or Classic Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
- Starting between £35-40,000 per annum, pending experience/qualifications.
- 28 days annual leave (including the bank holidays) with your holiday allowance increasing by a day per year of service.

- Access to further technical training and development, including an MOT licence.
- Fantastic long-term career prospects with an independent family-run garage that has a loyal staff and customer base.
- Working hours from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- Mechanical/electrical fault diagnosis and repair, aftermarket ECU installation and custom wiring looms.
- Underbody restorations, brake/fuel pipe replacement, general mechanical repairs and servicing, tyre fitting and wheel alignment.
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements:
- A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Candidates that have a strong mechanical knowledge, with Classic or Motorsport Vehicles can be considered, if formal qualifications aren’t present.
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.
Hours of work for this Classic Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
