Summary
Parts Advisor
Location: Reading
Salary: £31,000 basic OTE £34,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:30pm
Alternate Saturdays, 08:00am – 12:00pm paid at 1.5x

We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our client’s successful and expanding team in Reading. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone
- Locate and supply parts and accessories from stock or by placing orders with suppliers
- Process customer orders accurately using internal systems
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records
- Ensure the parts department is well organised and clean at all times
- Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
- Communicate effectively with workshop colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery
- Regularly update the parts database with new stock and pricing
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role in the motor trade is preferred
- Commercial/HGV experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Organised, accurate, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
