A lovely family in Taunton is looking for a temporary full-time nanny to care for their toddler. Alongside typical childcare duties, the role includes helping to keep the house clean and tidy with light housekeeping tasks and assisting with family laundry. A valid first aid qualification is essential. The ideal candidate will be active, energetic, and able to engage warmly with the child, providing a fun and supportive environment throughout the day.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm (flexible)
Duties include:
Assisting with nappy changes.
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development.
Light housekeeping to keep and maintain cleanliness of house.
Sweeping floor
Laundry
Cooking duties
Cooking healthy meals and snack for the child.
The nanny will ideally work from August 6 to 13, 2025.
