Summary


Are you ready to take the next step in your clinical career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) within the Theatre Department at Newark Hospital.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our well-established team of practitioners. You’ll be working across our three day case theatres, minor operations suite, and procedure room supporting a wide range of specialities including:
• Breast
• Urology
• ENT
• Ophthalmology
• General Surgery
• Elective Orthopaedics
• Gynaecology
• Dermatology
• Pain Management

There is also an on-call commitment involving intra/inter-hospital transfers, and occasional work at our King’s Mill Hospital site.

We are passionate about your professional growth. You’ll work closely with our Clinical Educator and Speciality Leads to ensure your training aligns with NMC/HCPC standards. Our competency packs and skills matrix are regularly updated to support your development.
