Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Cleaners based in the Norwich area. Own transport is desirable but not essential. Candidates will be required to complete CSCS training.

We are seeking reliable and hard-working Cleaners to carry out cleaning duties on new build homes located on construction sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that properties are cleaned to a high standard at various stages, including pre-paint, sparkle, and final handover cleans. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work safely on active building sites, and a flexible, can-do attitude.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Cleaning Duties: Carry out a range of cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and removing paint or plaster splashes.
• Staged Cleans: Perform initial builders’ cleans, re-cleans, and sparkle cleans in line with client specifications.
• Health & Safety: Work safely on active construction sites, using appropriate PPE and following site safety rules at all times.
• Waste Removal: Clear debris, packaging, and other waste left from construction.
• Finishing Touches: Ensure properties are clean, presentable, and ready for inspection or handover to clients or homeowners.
• Communication: Liaise with site managers and supervisors to complete work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Any other duties as required
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience (ideally in construction, domestic, or commercial environments).
• Awareness of health and safety practices on building sites.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and standards of cleanliness.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential, depending on location).
• Must be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
Shift pattern:
• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 - 16:00
