We are seeking a talented colleague to join our existing AEN Team in this student-support role.

Part-time: 15 hours per week
8.30am – 3pm (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch) 2 days per week (preferably Monday and Tuesday), 8.30am – 11.30am 1 other day

Permanent contract

The Learning Mentor supports learners who have a range of complex needs, helping them with their learning and with the development of key life-skills.
Essential qualities include:
• The ability to work flexibly and cooperatively with other staff members
• The ability to foster positive working relationships with students with complex needs
• The ability to think creatively, to engage students and sustain their attention through programmes that incorporate variety and interest
• A professional demeanour when working with staff, students and parents
