Crynodeb
The role will involve setting up and coordinating research studies, working on studies and disciplines as the service requires. You will be delivering on key objectives and developing research capacity within the trust's Research and Development department. You will recruit patients into studies and be responsible for all aspects or enrolment and data collection, with the necessary support and guidance. You will work collaboratively with the clinical studies team and the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in the management of clinical trials. There will need to be flexibility within the areas of work to support the Research department as a whole and requirements of the Trust. The post holder will be supported by the wider research team but needs to demonstrate the ability to manage own work load and provide cover and support for other team members. Previous experience working within a clinical research environment will be desirable but not essential and we gladly welcome informal calls and visits if you would like more information.
