Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Web Designer will play a crucial role in the planning, design, development, and maintenance of our online platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, proposing engaging design concepts, and building fully functional and secure e-commerce websites. This role demands a strong balance of creative vision and technical expertise to ensure an effective and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather website specifications and requirements
• Develop responsive, user-friendly e-commerce web designs incorporating graphics, animations, and interactive features
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas
• Define project goals, timelines, budgets, and technical specifications
• Design and develop web interfaces, including database integration
• Ensure website security, functionality, and performance standards are met
• Conduct thorough pre-launch testing and troubleshoot post-launch issues
• Write, edit, and manage website content in line with brand guidelines
• Maintain and update websites regularly to enhance functionality and user experience
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web design and e-commerce platforms

Requirements:
• Proven experience in e-commerce web design and development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web development tools
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Experience in website testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
• Excellent communication and project management skills
