Outreach Tutors - Core Subjects (Maths & English)
Location: Croydon & surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible / Part-Time
Pay: £20-£30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualification)

Are you a passionate and adaptable educator looking to make a real difference outside the traditional classroom?

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Outreach Tutors to deliver 1:1 or small group tuition for students in Croydon and its environ who are currently unable to attend mainstream school due to medical needs, special circumstances, or lack of a suitable school place.

This is a vital and rewarding role helping young people stay on track with their education and prepare for a successful return to full-time schooling.

About the Role:
You will be working with pupils across Key Stages 2 to 4, primarily focusing on English , Maths and Sciences.
Tuition is flexible.

In-person at community venues, libraries, or school campuses

Or online, with in-person check-ins coordinated by the CAP Tutors

Reports will be written and updates on progress checked in.

✅ We're Looking For:
Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced Tutors with strong subject knowledge

Confidence working 1:1 or with small groups of students with a range of needs

Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

Experience supporting students with SEND, anxiety, school refusal, or medical conditions

Ability to work flexibly and independently

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
