Crynodeb
This role will support Kingston’s Safeguarding Adult Board and Independent Chair to ensure that there is continual learning and improvement in safeguarding adults in Kingston. This role will demonstrate the good governance required for the Board to perform its functions and to lead the work in engaging with the community and other partnerships.
This role will assist in driving our ambitious Transformation Agenda, achieving better outcomes for our Communities by working collaboratively with residents, stakeholders and partners. You will have the opportunity to bring your creativity and ideas to innovate and digitise your service and challenge conventional thinking around our processes. You will proactively engage with our residents and customers, who are at the heart of our decision-making process, listening to their concerns and finding effective solutions to enable a seamless customer experience. You will demonstrate a ‘can do’ positive attitude to change, ensuring you provide the best value for our customers, with as few hand offs as possible. As the Kingston Safeguarding Adults Board Business Manager, you will be educated to degree level with experience in social care, health or police services. You will have thorough knowledge of the key strategic developments and challenges in the area of Safeguarding Adults with knowledge of The Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act and other key legislation and guidance in relation to health and social care. You will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills to develop and sustain relationships with a partnership focus and be proactive in delivering results.

The Kingston Safeguarding Adults Boards is based in our adults and health directorate working closely with our partner agencies such as Police, LFB, Mental Health, Acute and Community health services.
