Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Controller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to begin a career in food production and quality assurance. You will be trained to conduct quality checks, support hygiene practices, and contribute to maintaining high production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in carrying out routine checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
* Monitor cleanliness and hygiene in the production area.
* Learn to identify and report any quality issues to the senior team.
* Help ensure that packaging and labelling meet required standards.
* Support in keeping accurate records of quality checks and inspections.
* Participate in training on food safety and hygiene procedures (e.g., HACCP).
* Work with production staff to ensure products meet company standards.
* Gain hands-on experience in food manufacturing quality control processes.
What We're Looking For:
* A recent graduate or school leaver with an interest in food production or quality assurance.
* Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety (training will be provided).
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
