Our manufacturing department specializes in producing pulleys, gears, and sprockets, offering everything from standard off-the-shelf parts to custom designs. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our dynamic manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As the Production Manager, you will:
• Oversee CNC, semi-CNC, and manual machining processes, including lathes, mills, and gear cutting.
• Manage the finishing department and plating operations to ensure high-quality output.
• Collaborate with the Production Planner, Production Engineer, and Production Supervisor to optimize production efficiency and workflow.
• Lead recruitment efforts for your area and serve as the first point of contact for HR-related matters within your team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards across all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
• Proven experience in CNC and manual machining, gear cutting, and production management or supervision.
• A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable but not essential).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC programming, manual machining processes, gear cutting techniques, and finishing operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
• Managing and coordinating day and split shifts to ensure seamless production operations.
• Monitoring and optimizing machining processes to meet production targets.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement solutions.
• Leading team meetings, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Overseeing quality control and ensuring all products meet customer specifications.

Work Schedule:
• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
