We are currently recruiting for a Work Experience (WEX) / Careers Coordinator on behalf of an SEN College.

Role: Careers Coordinator
Full Time: 5 days a week
Hours: You must be available between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm
Location: South Norwood, Southeast London
Pay: GBP110 - GBP120 per day
Start Date: September 2025

**Access to your own car is essential for this role, as approximately 70% of your day will involve driving students to and from their work placements.**

Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Work-Related Careers Lead (WRCL) to deliver a high-quality careers programme
· Identify suitable students for work experience placements
· Secure appropriate WEX placements for Year 12 and 13 students
· Conduct Health & Safety checks with employers
· Stay informed on changes to WEX legislation
· Monitor student progress during placements and collect employer feedback
· Maintain and report on CRL (Career Related Learning) data
· Organise and track student participation in WEX
· Support WRCL at career events, workshops, and projects
· Assist in engaging students in extracurricular career development activities
· Recruit, brief, and support volunteers for CRL events
· Liaise with employers for career-related school events (assemblies, talks, etc.)
· Occasionally work flexible hours (evenings for events)
· Escort students to interviews and placements where needed
· Guide Year 13 & 14 students through post-18 options (college, apprenticeships, etc.)
· Organise employer-led talks and networking opportunities for students
· Build and maintain relationships with external partners and organisations
· Support the college in achieving the Eight Gatsby Benchmarks
· Carry out any reasonable tasks as requested by the WRCL

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiables):
· You MUST have access to your own car
· Proven experience in Careers & Guidance
· DBs on the update service (Child & Adult)
· 2 references (Covering the past 2 years of your employment)
