Are you a caring and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils with additional needs in Reception and Year 1?
About the Role
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in NG9 to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant. This full-time role involves supporting pupils across Reception and Year 1 with a range of special educational needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delay.
You will work both 1:1 and in small groups to build early communication, emotional regulation, and learning through structured play. A nurturing, calm and adaptable approach is essential, along with experience supporting young children with SEN.
Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Level 2/3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification
Level 2/3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience supporting SEN in EYFS or Key Stage 1 (especially autism and communication needs)
