About the Role

A College we're working with is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, with a focus on CAD, CAM, and CNC, to join its dynamic and supportive team.

You will design and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that reflect current industry standards and prepare learners for further education or employment in the engineering sector. You'll also contribute to curriculum development, support student progress, and play a key role in shaping the future workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a college that values innovation, inclusion, and excellence in teaching and learning.

What You'll Need

• A minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (a bachelor’s degree is ideal)

  
  

• Strong knowledge and experience in CAD, CAM, and CNC technologies

  
  

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one

  
  

• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English

  
  

• Experience in teaching or assessing is desirable

  
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  
  

• Confidence using IT systems and digital tools

  
  

• A flexible, collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for education
