The University of St Andrews Business School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Administrator to join our teaching administration team and provide administrative support across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Departments of Economics, Finance and Management, working closely with other administrators and academic colleagues. The post-holder will also provide an efficient and welcoming front-of-house reception to staff, students and visitors.
We are looking for a candidate who has administrative experience within an office environment, ideally in higher or further education. You will need a customer-focused mindset and must be a collaborative team member with good attention to detail. You will communicate effectively in writing and orally with a wide range of stakeholders, including enquirers, applicants, current students, academic staff as well as colleagues in other academic schools and administrative units. This is a varied role and the post-holder will be required to effectively manage their time and adopt a proactive approach to their work.
The starting date for the position is as soon as possible.
