Location: Newton Mearns
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week – various shifts available including waking nights and weekends
Salary: £13.97 – £15.21 per hour (depending on service and shift pattern)
Driving Licence: Manual UK licence and access to your own vehicle essential
About the Role
We are looking for caring and dedicated Senior Intensive Support Workers to join our expanding, award-winning, Employee-Owned organisation in Newton Mearns.
As an Intensive Support Worker, you will support individuals with complex health and behavioural needs, including those who are ventilated or living with long-term conditions. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in someone’s life, helping them to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
What You'll Do
Provide intensive support to individuals in their homes, ensuring person-centred care
Assist with clinical and healthcare needs, monitoring mental and physical health as per care plans
Deliver personal care and support as needed
Follow outcome-focused support plans, collaborating with internal teams, health professionals, and families
Undertake specialist training to meet the competency requirements set out by health partners
Ensure the smooth delivery of the service by maintaining effective communication and negotiation amongst the team in the provision of 24 hour care and support.
What You'll Need
A Manual UK Driving Licence and access to your own car
Flexibility to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends, and nights
A compassionate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic approach
Willingness to undertake specialist training and ongoing development
