Crynodeb
Prepares and fills a wide range of sterile medicines and other products. Uses, disassembles, cleans and re-assembles a variety of manufacturing and filling equipment. Works in a clean and tidy manner. Assembles batch documentation for products manufactured. Assists with the training of new members of staff. Assembles and transports from the storage areas, components, raw materials and consumables required for the production process. Performs specialised cleaning of the production area, or other pharmacy areas as necessary to cover sickness, leave and absence of specialised cleaning operatives. Removes rubbish, pharmaceutical, clinical and other waste materials to designated sites within the hospital. Handles and moves goods and equipment (maximum weight 25kg), transferring them between cages, trolleys, cupboards and work areas and shelving that are at different levels. Transports manufactured batches to the finished goods store or bond store as appropriate, and ensure that the necessary documentation and/or samples are taken to Quality Control. Participates in the Performance Development Review process.
