This is more than a teaching role, it's your opportunity to redefine Science education for students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.

This is a forward-thinking, inclusive SEN School supporting children and young people aged 5-16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs. What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on Science and STEM lessons that are tailored to individual learning profiles and EHCPs.
  • Use digital tools and assistive technologies to support learning and communication.
  • Promote inquiry, independence, and practical problem-solving through your curriculum.
  • Build a calm, consistent, and encouraging classroom where every student feels safe to experiment and explore.
  • Work in close collaboration with therapists, support teams, and families to deliver holistic care.
  • Celebrate every achievement academic, emotional, and personal.

What We're Looking For

  • UK QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge of Science and/or ICT/STEM subjects
  • Proven experience supporting learners with SEND, particularly Autism and SEMH
  • Confidence in using assistive technology and adaptive teaching strategies
  • A resilient, patient, and flexible mindset
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-centred education
