Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Temporary – Goods-In Operator)
Location: EH12 - Edinburgh
Pay Rate: £25,126 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: 21st August
Contract Duration: 12 working days - possible extension
Main Duties:
- Receive, record, unpack and sort materials on arrival into the operating area.
- Stock management and rotation of materials to ensure that the appropriate materials are available for processing by operators.
- Identify, separate and retain goods inwards notices and addresses to aid operators
- Record deliveries in a central log to monitor levels of materials and identify potential shortfall in receipt levels.
- Support the administration function by separation of letters and delivery notes to update claim, receipt and supplier data.
Essential Skills:
- Able to identify and separate materials at the point of receipt, based on agreed material category types and requirements
- Ability to interpret and make accurate decisions on retention of supporting information for goods received
- Ability to work on routine tasks with minimum supervision
- Demonstrate an ability to apply problem-solving and interpretation processes in the completion of daily allocated duties
- Attention to detail

- Ability to cope with pressure of work and variable workloads
