General Catering Manager - Northampton
£40,000 per annum
5 over 7 days, varied shifts
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Catering Manager to lead the catering operations at a busy site in Northampton. With responsibility for a large team delivering multiple food service offerings, including breakfast, lunch, night shift feeding and hospitality. this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to drive service excellence and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Full operational oversight of all catering and cleaning services on site.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of 16 direct reports and 17 employees.
Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, safety, hygiene, and service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
Proactively seek service improvements and identify opportunities for growth.
Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and meeting financial targets.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
About You:
We’re seeking a confident, hands-on leader with:
Proven experience managing a high-volume catering operation.
A strong track record of successful client and stakeholder management.
A proactive and innovative mindset focused on service enhancement.
Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
