Are you an enthusiastic, fun-loving person with a passion for working with young children? Do you have at least 2 years of experience working with children – or even better, have little ones of your own?
We’re looking for a Playgroup Leader who brings energy, warmth, and a big smile to every session. In this role, you’ll lead engaging and active play sessions for children aged 18 months to 5 years, helping them explore, learn, and grow in a safe and welcoming environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading fun and structured play sessions that encourage movement, creativity and social skills
Setting up and packing down equipment and play areas
Welcoming families and building friendly, trusting relationships
Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel happy and confident
Supporting early childhood development through play-based activities
Communicating clearly with children and parents
Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
What We're Looking For:
A positive, friendly, and confident personality
Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children
Minimum 1 years’ experience working with children OR personal experience as a parent/carer
Physically fit and comfortable leading active sessions
Excellent verbal communication and people skills
Highly reliable, organised and punctual
Experience as a group leader, coach, or early years educator is a bonus – but not essential
Requirements:
Must hold a valid UK driver’s licence
DBS check
Willingness to work weekends
Basic First Aid or Early Years qualifications are a plus
If you’re ready to bring joy, energy and creativity to every session, we’d love to hear from you! Come and help us create magical play moments for little ones and their families.
