This is an exciting time to join Cornerstone Academy Trust, with schools located in Exeter, East Devon, and the coastal town of Barnstaple in North Devon. We are seeking Nursery Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible to join our highly regarded teaching assistant staff within our Trust. We are looking for individuals with relevant experience of working with children, who is enthusiastic about supporting and educating primary aged children. You will need to have a passion and commitment to wanting our young children to develop a life-long love of learning by being a positive, nurturing, and supportive role model.
What you will bring;
• Experience working with children in Key Stage 2
• A nurturing, tech-savvy, and proactive mindset
• A passion for education and a commitment to pupil success
Your role;
• Support teachers in delivering a rich, project-based curriculum
• Assist with classroom setup, pupil records, and admin tasks
• Lead reading groups, PE sessions, and accompany school trips
• Mentor and tutor pupils to help them thrive academically and personally
• Embrace digital learning and help prepare pupils for the 21st-century world
