About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Installing Solar PV systems and completing associated roofing works
Identifying and rectifying roofing defects
Surveying and replacing slates/tiles in isolated areas
Removing and replacing full roof coverings across various roof styles
Re-bedding and renewing hip and ridge tiles
Pointing, repairing, rebuilding chimney stacks and renewing chimney pots
Repairing mineral felt and asphalt flat roof coverings
Renewing and repairing lead flashing on chimneys and lead upstands
Liaising directly with customers to schedule and carry out work, interpreting written and verbal instructions including drawings, diagrams, and using measuring tools

Please note: this is not an exhaustive list; tasks may vary to meet business needs.

What We're Looking For:

Time-served tradesperson or completion of a recognised apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing
Proven experience in all aspects of roofing, particularly maintenance work on domestic properties and high-rise buildings
Comfortable working in confined spaces
Valid UK driving licence
Skilled worker CSCS card (beneficial)
Asbestos awareness certification
Own tools required
