Summary
The Best Connection are currently looking for reliable and hard-working Recycling Operatives to join our team based in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on role in a busy recycling environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy practical work and being part of a supportive team. Please note this is a dusty environment
Position 1
Waste Operative (Mon -Fri) 06:30 - 16:30 (47.5hrs a week) -
As part of our Waste Dept. your main role will be quality control on our picking line, this is a manual role that requires removing non-conforming materials from the material on the line. Operatives work as part of a team of 4 in a picking station. When the plant is off other duties that may be required. This role can lead to further training and/or a permanent placement:
General Tiding around the plant Light Maintenance Duties Housekeeping around the yard Production line work Some heavy lifting May have to work out side at times Position 2
Haz waste Operative 07:30 - 16:30 (42.5hrs a week)
As part of our Hazardous waste Department your main role will be the bulking and sorting of material arriving at our facility, all materials are initially checked by our team and instructions will be given to you by the site chemist, this is a manual role that typically dealing with the non-hazardous materials in the department Operatives work as part of a team. When the department quiet other duties that may be required. This role can lead to further training and/or a permanent placement:
