Crynodeb
The following duties are the main responsibility of the receptionist however this list is not exhaustive and there may be times when you are asked to carry out other tasks depending on the current workload and staffing levels. 1. Processing incoming phone calls and dealing appropriately with patient queries and requests 2. Signposting patients to the most suitable service 3. Maintaining the practice booking system 4. Updating of patients health records including clinical filing and coding 5. Processing prescription requests 6. Maintain a tidy and organised reception area 7. Support other practice staff with general tasks and administrative duties 8. Complete the opening and closing of the Practice when required
